Hi roadman1977,
Welcome to InfopathDev
I would suggest using a formula such as the one below. What it does is that it returns the last two characters of a string, and from there use a rule which is triggered by a condtion that if the populated field is not equal to numbers, then set a certain field to a value of 0.
substring(field1, ...

Hi Ruskin11,
If you are following the method on how to submit an item from this link, then you would need to set the value of the Cmd field of the XML file to "Update" before submitting.
Please let me know if this helps.

Hi YK,
Sorry for not being able to get back to you soon. I'm not quite sure on how your form is set up, but if you are copying non-repeating data, a simple set value should do the trick. Would you be able to attach a sample of your form? Thanks.

I see. So the issue here is not really on the submit part, but rather copying data from one repeating table to another, is this correct? If so, here is an MSDN link which discusses how to copy repeating data using code. Or you may want to use qRules if you wish for a codeless approach. Hope this helps.

Hi Veera8,
Please check this thread for tips on how to exclude certain dates such as holidays when calculating dates. Another alternative you may attempt to use is qRules' DateDiff command which allows you to include a repeating field or field in a repeating group with holidays that should be excluded in the date math. I hope I'm able to ...

Hi Chris,
Since the StartDate field is from a secondary data source, you can only change it's data type at the location where you are querying this data from. Regarding the date validation, the StartDate is in an XML format which doesn't have problems on the form I am using. Would it be possible for you to attache a copy or a sample of ...

I see. Unfortunately, I'm unable to find a way to close a form after clicking a hyperlink. An alternative you can take is to use code on a button to open up a URL and add a rule which closes the form. If you wish to avoid code, you could try out qRules' OpenUrlInBrowser command. Hope this helps.

I am unable to pinpoint the exact error here but there was a previous thread which discussed the Log ID:5566 error:
http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/t/7676.aspx?PageIndex=1
It may probably be a problem with the credentials you are using, or a server sided error.

Here you go. I've added buttons just in case you want to use them as tabs.
