Hi tch_hp,
I'm not going to be able to do full debugging for you, but you might try spitting out something like ''XDocument.DOM.documentElement.xml'' into a XDocument.UI.Alert();

Hi Evert and welcome to the forums!
On the OnAfterChange event of the field that the user inputs to, try this code:
DateTime f1 = DateTime.Parse(e.Source.text);
DateTime f2 = f1.AddMinutes(-15);
thisXDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''/my:myFields/my:field2'').text = f2.ToShortTimeString();

Hi Michael,
I have very little experience with IPFS, but I'm not sure how you could do this without code. The only thing I can think of is hooking up a web service that takes a date and returns a dayOfWeek. If you have one of these then you can get it using just rules.
Rules on the Date node:
Set field's value: Date value into parameter of web ...

Hi Alexander,
I don't see anything wrong with what you're doing - could you paste the error?
-
Hi Alexander,
You should be able to do this:
private MyService myService;
OnLoad()
{
myService = newMyService();
}
Then you can reference this global myService variable from any of the functions in the class. To generate the OnLoad event, click Tools -> Programming -> OnLoad event.

Something is wrong with the XPath. You should double-check that it's correct and then see if you're hitting a namespace issue.

Hi jikner and welcome to the forums!
The best way to open a URL in a browser windows is with a hyperlink control in the view. You could bind this control to a node and dynamically change the URL that it opens. As for doing both of these actions with one button click I'm not sure how possible it will be.
There are two ways to open a URL from ...

Hi Accesswang,
I believe the only way to submit data to a database using standard InfoPath functionality is to create a form with a Main DOM schema bound to the database. To do this, create a new form and choose ''From Database schema'' - this is what allows submission to a database. You should be able to achieve the same things that you're ...

Hi Darrell,
I think the easiest way to do this would be to create a view in SQL and then connect to that view from InfoPath. This also seems like it would be more performant, but I can't vouch for that.
Hope this helps!

Hi Lorenzco,
It seems like you've done what I described in this HowTo:http://infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=9111ef580f95479890fc18fb2c5bac85 but you need an easier way. Makes sense. Try this:
Assuming your schema is something like this:
RepeatingGroup
--Name
--Number
--Department
--Etc.
Drag and drop the RepeatingGroup node ...
