 I don't actually want to have the field in the form. I did 20-30 tests last night and it worked about two times. This is in production now and I can't have this happening.  I think this is default behavior in SharePoint because the form name is used as part of the URL to open the form, and you can't have a comma in a URL. One alternative is to have a promoted field/column that displays Smith,Joe, but have the link (filename + URL) happen on a field that does not have the comma. Good luck!

What's happening on load in your form? If you have some on load queries, how big are they? How many rows/columns? I guess that's probably the issue, but knowing what happens to your form on load (queries, rules, etc.) will help. Thanks.
