  • Re: Copy value to print view

Hi- I'm not sure that I understand the issue. Each view is independent of the other. If you want fields 1, 2 and 3 in View1 but only fields 2 and 3 in View2 that is very easy. Just design your canvas to only have the fields you want. You don't have to transfer anything; the values are stored in the schema itself. The only fields shown ...

  • Re: Copy contents from one repeating table to another one

Hi, thanks for your suggestion :)  I want to copy the contents of column 1 (labels), but not the rest of the columns. I like your suggestion though, and will try to bound Table2/Column1 to the same field as Table1/Column1. I believe I can still bind the other columns in Table2 to new fields. I agree with setting it to read-only ...

  • Re: Add Squire root to a filed calculation?

Hello sentinelace, It appears that you haven't defined any rules in the SquareRoot data source at all.  You need to imitate all of the rules that I have on the Start and Step fields. Also, I mentioned that I uploaded a simpler implementation than I had before.  It looks like you still have the old one.  Please download the ...

  • Re: error installing Qdabra Query Builder.exe

Hello Geronimo, Before installing Query Builder, could you ensure that you don't have any InfoPath windows open, and if that still doesn't work, could you check Task Manager and kill any INFOPATH.EXE processes that might be running?  Just to double check, you do have InfoPath installed on the machine where you are installing Query ...

  • Re: InfoPath Filtering

I would create a secondary data connection to the list and make sure to pull in all the fields that you need to display in your template. Then you can add a filter to your repeating table to only display rows that have PM and Cycle equal to the values that the user selected in the dropdowns.  Another method is to use queryFields.  With ...

That's correct (I have attached sample file in the initial post, what I am trying report to look like... I have only 2 rows currently but there is total of ~10 and it could be as many as 20 columns)

  • Re: InfoPath Filtering

Let me see if I understand your scenario.  You have a very large table/list and two columns in this table are PM and Cycle.  You want to pick the PM and Cycle from dropdowns and have a summary table display only the entries from that large list with only the PM and Cycle equal to what you have selected in the dropdowns. Is that correct?

  • Re: InfoPath Filtering

Cascading dropdown is not an option… there would be way to many clicks to display what I need (report I am trying to create will have 10rows and could potentially have 20 columns) What I am trying to do is to only select Cycle and PMs name, based on that information, I would like to automatically display everything else. I know I can use data ...

  • drop down list box with links to forms

Hello, I have a lot of forms in our HR area and I wanted to create a quick infopath form that consists of a single drop down list box.  The user would then select a form name with it's url as the value click a "go" button and have sharepoint link the user to the form or another aspx page, or even a word file.  pretty ...
