yeah missed that.  Added the rules and now works like a champ!  Thanks for your help.  Why couldn't they just add a square root button to infopath? LOL

Yeah it makes a little sense - but I'm already showing the corresponding section upon false/true at the individual radio button on the "fill-view" - and I can't seem to hide the same section on the print view.. the radio buttons are "outside" the sections....       damn ...

Kalp/Martijn.  you do not need to have web services installed to connect an Infopath form to SQL server.  When you create the form, you have an option to connect to an SQL server (open Infopath, Design a from Template, Database, then select your database).  This will also create some custom action types (run query, new record, ...

By using conditional formatting you can hide/show sections as desired. If the field for a radio button is equal to False, then hide this section. Make sense?

Hello shniggens, Would it be able to just insert the new row at the beginning of the whole repeating group, and use a filtered SetValue command to set the requisite category field appropriately?  That way it would definitely appear at the top.

  Hi, I would like to populate the items of the mutiple selection list box using the code behind. Is there any way to implement it? I tried the setValue method. It adds the new item but also check the item when i load the form. I need the items with out checking the list. Any help please
