Is there some relationship between the textbox and the checkboxes? I think it's highly unlikely that a validation rule on a textbox would affect some completely separate checkboxes.

Have you tried placing a rule on accessRights to set evalAccessRights to the value of that formula? My experience is that you need to use a default value formula and a rule when you're working with double eval and a MSLB.

So if I understand correctly, you had to change some of the data connections to make your form 2010 compatible and you're having trouble updating the code that accesses those data connections. Is that what the issue is?
If so, I think a likely problem is that there's simply an issue with the XPath you've got there. ...

So are you saying that this is code that was already working fine but stopped working when you opened the form in 2010? Or is this a portion that you recently modified? JScript isn't a language that's available in 2010, but if what you mean is that you're opening 2003 forms with JScript in 2010, then I don't think there ...

Are you trying to use VB.NET or C# code?

As far as I know, the only way to use code like the above to access a database is for your form to be full trust.
Instead, you should set up a data connection to the SQL server, and if necessary, manipulate that from code.

Hello Shep,
Firstly, it looks like you're missing a closing quotation mark at the end of the XPath:......my:trxCount) --> ......my:trxCount")Next, assuming that the XPath you have there is correct, that will return an actual object for that node. To access the field's actual value, you'll ...

You probably need a my: before intPropID, or something along those lines.
