Any chance I can see a copy of your form? You can attach it under a reply in the Options tab. Sorry, I'm not quite understanding your description. :)

In your qRules mapping, when you use the InfoPath to SharePoint list tool, you can indicate a field is an ID - have you done that? Maybe attach your mapping file to a reply so I can take a look at it. If we have the ID mapped, qRules will update when you use SubmitToSharePointList if the ID has a valid value. :) As to setting the department field ...

This all sounds weirdly familiar - except I think I have never gotten disabled buttons in browser 2013 forms to actually appear disabled. In one set of SHP 2013 forms I worked on, we simply have a button and an expression box that looks exactly like the disabled button should look. Hide the button if the button should be disabled. Hide the ...

You can parse the value to a date time and then you can use ToString to format. Sample below.
DateTime dateValue = new DateTime();
string dateField = MainDataSource.CreateNavigator().SelectSingleNode("/my:myFields/my:field2", NamespaceManager).Value;
DateTime.TryParse(dateField, out ...

So - for InfoPath, we can only store data in the main data source. This means you need a repeating table in your main data source with the same number of rows as you have users in your list. And that is NOT easy in InfoPath - there are no rule actions for adding repeating nodes. Do you have an idea of about the max number of Team Members you'd ...

A little head's up - if you are using Office 365 browser forms, this product won't work for you since Sandbox has been deprecated & you may want to check out FormsViewer instead: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/FormsViewer.aspx

Okay, now I understand. Thanks for the sample form! So - the issue is we can't dynamically change the data source for a drop down. What you'll need to do is have a number of dropdowns, set up to use the different fields for their values, conditionally formatted to hide. See attached, save the file locally, right click & select Design ...

We are talking about qRules (a product that I work on for Qdabra) that can be added to a form to do things that you'd usually have to write code for. One of the things it can do is copy files out of a form and off to a library or list - more here: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/qRules.aspx

Hi - first, this is the right approach: 1st: going in the form options > save with custom code > modify > then Visual Studio opens and I put the code where it's written ''Type here the code to run before a 'save' or 'save as' operation''.Your samples look like they are from older ...

You'll need to copy the data from the secondary data source into the main data source to update the existing list items - but all you need to copy in is the list item ID & the field you need to change (department). So, CopyTable or Transform, or Insert with some logic to set values will probably be needed too...
