Hi there, I'm a little confused on the first part of your scenario.  InfoPath doesn't really handle dynamic data connections based on fields in the form, but I'm not clear on whether that is what you actually want. Repeating sections are not supported in SharePoint list forms which is why you cannot add the control to your form.
