    I think Anson's suggestion is for browser forms - I'm not sure if your question is about browser forms, however. I think for a Filler form, this will have to do with the save and submit options. If your form allows submit but not save, I think the first behavior you've described would be in effect. If it does not have a submit ...

    I don't believe there is an easy way to do this.  If you do find one, I'd be interested to know! :) For now, you can start by just copying and pasting all your controls from your view(s) into the XTP.  Though you will have to recreate all your rules, data connections, etc. from scratch.

    You can remove the Close button from the ribbon by going to File --> Form Options --> Web Browser --> Uncheck Close. The other form that prompts you to save is probably a document library form.

    Hi there, In the InfoPath designer check that the properties of the Rich Text control has Enhanced Rich Text selected and then republish the form.  If that doesn't work, try deleting the control and adding it back into the form again. Hopefully one of those two options will fix the problem for you.

  • Can you convert a xsn to a xtp2?

    By mistake I create what was intended to be a template part in as a form.  Is there a way I can convert all that information into a template part or do I have to rebuild everything?
