• Re: Perform count in Infopath 2003

Yes you should be able to use the count function on the records but then also add a filter so that the count is only of the records which match the filter.

  • Re: Tables are joined wrong, need to change them maybe(?)

I think you would want to structure your data by Visit data primary and then with a key field to the patient and episode. That way you could query by visit date.

  • Re: Drop Down Lists Status

You would want to count the same field you are using as the source for your dropdown. So if you are using my:fields\my:company as the field for populating the drop down then you would want the expression box to count(my:fields\my:company) Now that i am thinking about it, you may actually want to count the repeating group which contains the field ...

  • Re: Drop Down Lists Status

You are looking for a count of items in the dropdown list? I would think if these are from secondary data sources you could use the count function, and could even include a filter if necessary, to get this.

  • Re: Repeating section / Insert Button

I think what you are looking for is just to hide the blank row. You could either reference row [1] or their may be some default data that could be the condition for hiding the initial row but not a new inserted row.

  • Re: From dev to production server – involving connection files

Well. You are right the modify process for UDCs is not real good. Even switching is a pain. You need the UDC files on the production server which you may be able to copy them directly to it and/or modify them as XML. You also could create new ones and then convert them and have them created on the production site. Probably best, once they are ...

  • Re: Formatting Goes Haywire in Email Snapshot

Hi Phil. Do you close the form after this submit process? If so I have switched to the simple view at the end, then run the email submit, then close and the user never even sees it. If not then sometimes you can add a button to the simple email summary and treat it like a confirmation button and when they click it they switch back to the ...

  • Re: dropdown control not changing when i run a query

I would add some expression boxes bound to the same fields and verify what is being returned. What field types are you using in SQL? I have seen with non-variable field types that the data gets padded with spaces but then when imported back in that is not an exact match with the dropdown value and therefore it will not show it. But just ...

  • Re: Signing a Web Based form

Yes have authentication happen automatically when they open the form. I guess if you have poor security, where people are using others credentials then this would be aproblem but then your problems are big indeed. :) Otherwise use digital signatures.
