You can digitally sign a form based on sections. So what I would recommend is putting all of your signable controls into one section that leave the one that doesn't need to be signed out. Then go into the properties of that section and allow digital signatures.

Have you tried including the file as a resource of the template instead and then referring that file in code? Go to Data tab -> Resource Files.

I believe you can just go into the settings and delete the columns from there. Is that option not available for you?

Hi there,
Can you provide a little more information on exactly what is not working for you? If you can include your scenario, what filter you are using, and what you expect to happen, then we can help get to the bottom of what your issue is. Thanks!

The tabbing in the repeating table should flow naturally out of the box. So it should go from control to control in a single line, then to the insert item, then hit enter, then focus is on the first control of the new row.
Are you seeing this behaviour on the client or browser? What version of InfoPath are you running?

Hi there,
The tab index in the control properties should be the way to go here. Sounds like its broken in the browser for you? What version of SP are you running? What browser and version are you using that you are reproducing this problem in?

Do the scroll bars reappear when the text in the control start to overflow the preset size? I believe the scroll bars will only appear when there is too much text to display on screen.
What browser/version are you using? Have you tried using a different browser (eg. Firefox, etc.)?

The functionality you are asking for is not available out of the box. There might be a custom code solution, but it would likely be difficult to implement since that would require some complex calculation to determine how much text you have + how much width each character is taking up + paragraph/line breaks, etc.
The best workarounds I can ...
