And how, in the form, are you setting your CAML fields? Are the fields on your form? Are you using code or rules to set the values?

Oh, that sounds right. What is the result you are getting when you try this? Is the dropdown set to use display name for both the display and the value? Maybe drag the data field that is currently bound to the dropdown onto the form again as just a text box so you can see if any value is getting set at all?

I'd guess this has to do with your submit connection - it probably only submits to the source library. You probably need to add another connection to the destination library and in your submit rules, you can determine which to submit to. I'd think it would be - create another data connection to the list, set the correct query field to the player ID, run the query, and display the data from the data fields in the secondary data connection on the form?

Sure, all things are possible with code. You'd just need to determine which nodes you care about, and count if they are blank or not - but you wouldn't have to use code for this. See the attached sample for another approach. Save the file locally, right click and select design to open in design mode and then you can preview.

Well, as I mentioned above, when I ran Fiddler when trying to submit the list items, I had an error response that the list didn't exist (which was nonsense - it obviously does) - so maybe you could also try the form in Preview with Fiddler running?

I added rules to the paidby field to set the query field in Golf Names, run the query, and set the Paid By Name. Save the file locally, right click and select design and then preview to see if this does what you need.
