My Submit button was wrong.  I had my button set as submit using rules instead of just rules and custom code.  That fixed it for me.  Thank you for all the replies and help, it is greatly appreciated!!!

What would be more helpful would be a screenshot of your main data source. In general, you'll want to add a filter for the selections available, if the selection isn't already being used.

To get your info from one form to the other you could use input paramters. I'm sorry, but I don't know if managed code is allowed in form templates used in form web parts. Are there really any major pros or cons to using views over showing and hiding section via rules and vice versa?

I have a form that represent a parent/child structure and I want to extract only parents/child records based on a child query field. I've tried but all parent records are extracted (thoses with child field not matching the query have an empty child section). Can somebody helps? Thank you
