:) I'm not sure I've been very helpful. But, it's good having so many registered and interested forum users ! :)

Go to Form Options and set the security to be automatic. Do you have any data connections defined to your local hard drive? If so, I suggest removing them and adding programmatically. One more method would be to create a form from scratch and test it out ... hope this helps! More soon.

Hi Dan,
I updated the link not to append the period and it works now.
Searching the forum and the InfoPath SDK are good resources. We also have many HowTo documents and of course, we have four people from the InfoPath team (who actually worked on the product). So, we have a ton of expertise to help respond to your questions..

Hi Abhishek,
OK, well, that's what I thought but wasn't sure. You're welcome to confuse us just so long as you are patient while we wade through the fog.

FYI: Microsoft says this is fixed in SP2 which should be available on their website.

Hi Abhishek,
Who created the RegForm command that you refer to above? Is this a sample from some book? It expects the MyTrustedForm.xsn to be in the C:\MyForms folder. If it isn't it might be in some other location depending on how you downloaded the sample. Hazarding a guess...

Hi Reg,
Interesting question. You could use decompress a file with code. I know of no default way to import a compressed file into InfoPath and have InfoPath decompress it. However, the XSN contains an XSF manifest which is just XML. You could write some code to programmatically add the XML file to your XSF and then recab (re-compress the package) ...

Jason is right on. When my team created the samples that shipped with InfoPath V1 many of us used XML Spy. :)
