Set the postback to Always. You may sometimes have other actions on the form that are causing a postback which would then cause your command to execute, but to ensure commands always execute, set your postback to always on controls that execute qRules commands.

For GetDivisions, I see both SqlRowSet1 and row1 are repeating? So is the desired output to have just be one instance of SqlRowSet1 with multiple instances of row1? Or for each row in NE_GetDivisions, do you need a SqlRowSet1 with a single row1? Let me know if that question doesn't make sense. :)

It is fine to run the rule on a field instead of on form load.... I think the issue is with your filter. I think you need to have the filter first return all nodes that match your condition, then get the right index - so maybe something like this: ...

I think you just need to add another condition to your validation rule to see if the date field is blank - see attached. Save the file locally, right click and select design to open in design mode, then preview. Since all you care about is if the date is blank, you shouldn't need to worry about the date formatting - but so you know in the ...

XML dates are stored as yyyy-MM-dd, so, 2016-04-03, for example. What are you comparing your date to for validation? You can always attach a copy of the form under the Options tab in a reply & I'll take a look. :)

Just updating to add that you have this for beta testing now, and this will be included in qRules 8.1

Hi - the only way I know of to do this without code is to use default data, like the post you mention, but I found the same issue in the browser if using default values for this. I changed to using rules instead and didn't run into errors / limits - and this is with a test form published to Office 365. Save the attached sample locally, ...

Hi - are you familiar with XSLT? If so, using the transform command would be best (and if you attach a copy of your form to a reply under the options tab with info on what you are copying, I'd be happy to help you). Otherwise, you could use the insert & set values approach as described here - ...

Yeah, just search for "Online URL Encoder" - I use this one: http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/dencoder/
Paste in everything past the = sign on your Source param, and encode it, then paste that back into the URL you are trying to create. Test the URL and see if you are now returned to your desired form on close.

I don't believe there is a way to get the link to open in the same window. I have a form that redirects to another form on close - if I recall correctly, I had to URL Encode the source parameter - an online URL encoder will help with that.
