  • Re: How to use DelimitedList command?

Hi Hilary, Thanks for your response. I did exactly as you mentioned in your response. But I am getting an error(screenshot attached) while submitting this InfoPath form to SharePoint Online Document Library. Also, the Form compatibility is set to "Web Browser Form". I want to save the data in repeating table which is ...

  • Re: How to use DelimitedList command?

The error makes it looks like there is no space in between the command and the /xpath param. So, I suspect you are putting this in the formula editor in your rule builder. You should be able to just put this into the value field without using a formula, because you don't need to pass in any field values. But I think you'd want the ...

  • Re: Time format

If all you are worried about is the display, you may be able to modify that on the control. Is this a calculated value? If so, right click, select the properties, set the type to Time and then you can set the format. :)

  • Re: InfoPath Form Submission - two forms submitted at same time causing issues?

Thank you for verifying what i suspected! And also giving me a suggestion on how to do it. I updated this last night and it's great. And yes I am only setting file name if blank :)

  • Re: Creating cascaded menu that uses only one column?

Unfortunately that is not an option. This form is already HUGE and very near the column limit in SharePoint. I can barely afford to add the 25 additional columns needed for 25 error codes. If I added the fields used just to filter the codes it will be 100 more (4 drop-downs x 25 slots for storing errors), which I know won't fit. :-( Other ...

  • Time format

How can I modify the following in InfoPath substring-after(now(), "T") so that it displays the time as 1:00 PM instead of 13:00:00?

Oh wow - I figured it did since the template I uploaded still works when I re-open it. You may just have to add these fields to your list.

  • Re: Creating cascaded menu that uses only one column?

No, it doesn't. Granted this form is still in development (so not published) but if I close and re-open and then Preview I get the "not a valid xsn" error. I can go re-configure the drop-downs then it works again. It will be a pain once I duplicate the fields the 25 or so needed times...

  • Re: Creating cascaded menu that uses only one column?

Does it still work, if you don't change the dropdowns at all? In my case, the form continued to work as anticipated, as long as I didn't modify the dropdowns - the configuration is stored in the view files, and I think it is just a bug with displaying the selections. I wouldn't anticipate this will ever be fixed.

  • Re: Creating cascaded menu that uses only one column?

Ya know, I've got this working fine now and understand it too, but I have this exact same bug yours displayed: anytime I close the Infopath file then reopen it the three filter drop-downs lose their configuration. SO long as it's open and I keep clicking Save it's OK, but close it at the end of the day and I have to reconfigure all of ...
