Hi Hollis and welcome to our forum!
I doubt the manifest could help here because. My guess is that InfoPath does not parse references to the form's fields (xpath lookups on the DOM) when it parses the printSettings element.
We tried to add field values to footers and headers over a year ago for one of our customers. It was impossible. We ...

Something like the VB.NET code below:
If (e.Operation = ''Remove'') Then
Return
End If
''e'' is the eventObj.

SharePoint uses locks on forms. There are several threads on this issue. Please search the forum (upper left hand corner). You may want to verify that it is a locking issue first. The SharePoint lock is 10 minutes long. Make sure the first user closes the form. Then see if the second user can open. If not, wait 10 minutes and have them try again. ...

Not possible, and this is the biggest limitation of SharePoint views. SharePoint supports flat promotion.
However, one workaround is to create separate fields for each of the rows in your collection. Then you can display. Problem is that SharePoint limits the number of columns you can display.

Hi Grizeen,
I'm sorry Amazon is so lame on the delivery. No idea. Anyway, great question. The rules themselves don't filter Remove, Insert and Update. They always fire on all of these. If you need to filter out Remove, you will need to write some code, which means an OnAfterChange handler.

Leave the Condition as ''None'' (always applies). Add an Action to Set a Field's Value. Click the field chooser and select the field that you want to change when this one ...

Hi again Carlos,
You can do this kind of query without code if you install our Database Accelerator product (which is a Web service running on a SQL database). Check out the Downloads section. We have a free evaluation version of Database Accelerator and you can do this kind of query using XPath indexing (as opposed to code).

Hi again,
1) OnAfterChange is good. You can filter in the OnAfterChange event handler for insert or update or delete.
2) So just filter out remove. There's an example in the SDK and in Chapter 2 of our book.
