Doreen,
To clarify for you and anyone else, when clicking the browse button in the Publishing Wizard, it opens up to a local directory. The screenshot in the book has it opening a SharePoint location with a list of links entitled "All Site Content". Form Templates being one of those links. When I manually type the URL of the ...

Hey there,
I feel like this question has been asked and answered already, but I couldn't really find anything. I'm looking to concat two dataFields pulled in from SQL into a single text field. It's simply grabbing a Site and their Comments all into one field, but the two fields are repeating data. When I try and do a standard ...

How do I set Dropdown values using "Set a field's value"? Is there a certain format I need to follow? On form load. I need to add "Red, Blue, Yellow and Green" in a dropdown control. Please suggest.

I would like a theoretical answer to this....
I am using IP 2007. I have a form that once submitted to SharePoint, will be emailed sequentially to up to 3 approvers. The approvers are saved in a SharePoint list. Once a dropdown field in the form is selected, a data connection to list autofills in 3 textbox fields on the ...

Do you get an invalid URL message when you type in the url to the library? If so maybe this will help: I use IP 2007 and I don't know if this is the same problem but once, when I was NOT able to publish a form via the InfoPath publishing wizard (error was invalid URL even though it was valid). Once I cleared the registry cache I was ...

So let's say I have a drop down of a,b,c,d and if I select "d" I want that value to display in my text box below ...

The only thing I could think of would be if CTRL1424 wasn't in your current view - I'm sure you've checked that 100 times though. Oh, I guess you could also get that error if that control isn't bound to the field you are using for the XPathNavigator. I mean, your code looks just like the sample on the MSDN page for the method.

Your syntax looks correct, and since it is working in IP 2007, I'd anticipate it is correct.
Like I said, my only recollection on issues with current in IP 2003 was the use of it in default values. If this were my form, I'd try setting rules on the AccountNumber field to set these other fields and remove the default values and see if it ...

Hello All,
I'm new to InfoPath 2010 and SharePoint 2010 development as a whole, so I'm hoping someone may be able to provide some guidance. I'm following along in the book titled "Using Microsoft InfoPath 2010 with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Step by Step". One of the exercises has me publishing a content type form ...

Thanks a lot, Hilary. Maybe there's something you can see or think of, even if you don't have the older version. I'm attaching a copy of the form here.
There are actually 4 fields with this same issue, but the first one occurring in the main datasource is called "PrinBal" (myFields/MainTable/PrinBal).
