The promoted property should be added to the library when the form is re-published to the library. You can also promote the property as part of publishing. You should, under the library settings, see the new column in the columns list. You should not have to use SharePoint Designer to see the new column.

Unfortunately, the only way around case sensitivity is to use the translate function in your filter - so you'd compare translate(field1, 'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ', 'abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz') to the other field - and translate that as well.

I don't think that your emailed form will re-submit to the list. I think you'd need to include a link to the form in the email so the users open the form in the browser....

I don't know of a similar option in InfoPath - probably a way with qRules, or someone may have come up with complicated rule variation - https://aemadhavan.wordpress.com/2013/07/24/calculating-day-of-the-week-in-infopath-without-code/ might be a starting point....
-
Where is the rule? I'd guess you want validation rules here, not action rules - on the fields bound to the dropdowns.
-
So - when you say "edit the connections" - what do you mean? Are you clicking the button to update the data connections?
-
Not without code, I'm afraid.
EDITED TO ADD: Actually, if you put the form in a web part page - I think you can.

Put the text with the link and attachment control inside a section. Add conditional formatting to the section to hide unless question 1 has "yes" for an answer.
-
I'm afraid I don't understand the question. I would guess based on your desired outcome (replacing my fields w/ your fields, and I think based on language you need semicolons where the English version uses commas)
concat(substring("000", 1, 3 - string-length(my:field1)), my:field1, " v ", ...

Not with the built in query fields, I'm afraid. You may be able to use a REST connection for this (as long as this is not Office 365, which won't allow a SharePoint REST query from a browser form).
