What I have is just a copy and paste from what someone else gave me. how should i incorporate it into the formula? Posted to General (Forum) by ebonymb on 08-17-2012 Re: Problem with Receive Data Query not working for condition So, I think I figured it out. I think it has to do with the formula for populating the hidden field. For mdebit, the formala is: concat(Type, " ", "Effective Date:", concat(substring(Effective_Date, 6, 2), "/", substring(Effective_Date, 9, 2), "/", substring(Effective_Date, 1, 4)), " ... Posted to General (Forum) by ebonymb on 08-17-2012 Re: Problem with Receive Data Query not working for condition Yes. The type field is a radial button. button 1 = mdebit and button 2 = Phone_Address. It is a required field so one or the other must be selected. The rule to submit to the sharepoint library works all the time, no matter if button 1 or 2 is selected. The submit rule to query Created by from the library and email to ... Posted to General (Forum) by ebonymb on 08-17-2012 Re: Problem with Receive Data Query not working for condition Yes these are submit rules. I've tested all the fields in the condition and initially they work. Then I publish and test all the fields from the live site. They still work. The users will begin using the form again and it works... A few minutes later, only 1 condition is working for all of us. Even the saved copy ... Posted to General (Forum) by ebonymb on 08-17-2012 Problem with Receive Data Query not working for condition I have built a Data Query that retreives the Created by data from a sharepoint list. Posted to General (Forum) by ebonymb on 08-02-2012 Display number field value as text On submit, field Confirmation renders the following text "Manual Debit Total $ [TOTAL]" where [TOTAL] is a reference to the field TOTAL. The problem is, when the total is rendered in the confirmation field, it is displayed in scientific value. For example, field TOTAL displays 3639.10 but when the confirmation ... I used your suggestion and it resolved my issue temporarily only to occur again today. My thought is I might be able to use the round(sum()*100) div 100 formula in a hidden field and display the result as text in a visible field. Can that be done? Posted to General (Forum) by ebonymb on 08-01-2012 Re: Sum Multiple Fields I figured it out. http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/t/11349.aspx The problem was with floating arithmetic. I thought it was weird that the problem occurred randomly and out of 20 or so requests, this was the first time it had happened. I was able to resolve it with the following formula. (PRIN + INT + ANNUAL + LATE + ... Posted to General (Forum) by ebonymb on 07-31-2012 Re: Sum Multiple Fields I have a formula to to sum 5 fields which are all set to data type Decimal (double), Currency format, and 2 decimals. The total field formula = sum(PRIN) + sum(INT) + sum(ANNUAL) + sum(LATE) + sum(OtherFees) For some reason, when PRIN = 2.90, INT - 1.03, and all other fields = 0.00, the total sums as 3.9299999999999997 instead of ...
