• Re: Anonymous Email Button

are you using sharepoint? or do you have to use infopath? Infopath would give you some great functionality, but it might be easily set up in sharepoint. Sharepoint has a questionaire, survey, etc that you can set up annonymous submit. I don't know if it is or would work for you, but could be looked into. Maybe ...

  • Re: Email Confirmation Box - Go away please???

when setting up your button for submit, you can select advanced and it will have a check box that says: show success and failure messages. Deselect that, and then you can also make other changes there.

  • Re: Populating drop down list box with form data

Well thought i had a game plan, but now back to scratching my head. I figured as the user selected a date, the dates of the days would be saved into 7 different text boxes(as i need to display those dates as well). So I would then save those seven into an xml file and then use the xml file as the datasource for the drop down list ...

  • Populating drop down list box with form data

I have a date picker that I use to select the beginning of the week. I then have a drop down list box that the user needs to select one of the days of the week(date). How would I populate the drop down with the days dates from my form? I am thinking maybe I would have to create an xml file, attach as resource file, and populate it in ...

  • Re: Assigning Sequential Form Number

you will need to use the nz function in conjunction with what you have. what that does is return zero if there are no other number or other problems. Also it is best to have this done on the database side to handle multiple people using the form at once.

dude, sorry I missed that part, or read it initally when I first saw the post, went on with my job, came back and found that and posted it. It appears that your client is either trying to massage or persuade a piece of software into their work environment that is not how it was intended. Obviously it can be done, but could be cheaper ...

  • Re: Header

you can put fields of information from your form in it. They just do not allow tables to format how the data is presented. So if you need a lot of information, put them in text boxes and then put them in the headers.

  • Re: Newbie - How to programatically to save a form to Sharepoint Form library (Preferably using java script)

I remember that tutorial. I had some free time at work and just was doing some things to learn more about infopath. I will relook over the info, but if I remember right, that tutorial saves the data from the form into a sharepoint list, not the form itself.

  • Re: Want to SUBMIT form with the contents of 2 fields from the form.

there is a way to ensure that they use it, but I did it via code, not by rules. I had a date picker that would check the day of the week, and that returned an integer. That integer is zero based, meaning 0 corresponds to Sunday. I am sure 0 would correspond to Sunday in the US time, not sure about other countries. Then I ...
