• Re: Very strange behavior on repeating table values - HELP!

I finally found the solution. It is at the end of this article http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath/archive/2008/04/17/invalid-data-error-when-calculating-the-result-of-2-or-more-fields.aspxIt has to do with something called IEEE Floating-Point Errors.

  • Re: Very strange behavior on repeating table values - HELP!

I took another step today with the same strange results. I created a form not bound to any data source. Filed1 became a repeating field. Field2 was set as sum field1. Field3 was a text box and Field4 was set as Field2 minus Field3. Entering two repeating rows with values of 100 and .01 and then entering 100 in field3 yields a result ...

  • Very strange behavior on repeating table values - HELP!

I was having a major challenge with a form I was developing. There is no special code. Everything is done with point and click. To isolate the issue, I created a simple SQL table shown below. Basically 4 fields I then created a simple repeating table linked to the database connection. Field1 is the only field in te ...

  • IP 2010 and PDF's

Will IP 2010 have a simple to use IP form to PDF without writing massive Code? When a form is finished we would prefer to save the final as a PDF rather than as a xsn where we have to worry about later moving the template to a new library. Please say yes :)

  • Read only views and attachments

Am I correct that if a View is set to read only, then any attachment cannot be opened? I would like an end user to be able to read (open) the attachment but not delete it or replace it.

  • Date Editing / Restrictions

I know that dates are difficult to manage in InfoPath with code and I am no coder but I dont understand why this doesn't work. I have a date submitted [set as today() ] and a transaction date. The date submitted cannot be greater than 100 days after the transaction date. I tried a data validation rule that said if transdate ...

  • Re: Need to design forms and save them as editable .PDF files

With all the postings about InfoPath and PDF's, you would think that Microsoft would have responded with a solution. I have a number of forms that I currently store in either a SP library or in an Imaging System and I have to worry that the master template gets moved, rendering the old form unusable except for reviewing the xml data. MS - if ...
