The must be more going on as I removed the hidden rule and they still are not showing up. 

Okay so what you are saying is the value of the Current Approver has to also be AccountID?

Is there a better way to do this?  Am I making it more conmplicated than I need to ?

tried that.  When I go in to Approve as the supervisor the button is still hidden

I tried to add a rule to set a fields value CurrentApprover value is Supervisor but that did not work

maybe that is where I am confused how do I set that to that value?

Hello I have a form with three views for approval.  On the approval view there is three submit buttons.  I have them hidden unless the user is in the supervisior field.  But this is not working correctly.  Can you take a look to see the rule that I added on the first button to see why it is not displying correctly. 

Hi one more question.  when I run the form to make sure no errors I get the following error.   infopath the custom control has duplicate attributes or elements.please check the xsl.  any clue?  I have attached tthe file
