There are several query parameters that SharePoint uses to determine how to open InfoPath forms from links, and I am wondering if somehow the wrong parameters are appearing...can you compare the blank IE URL with the URL that appears when the form opens ... Unfortunately, InfoPath does not allow you to open a new form by clicking a button. What you can do instead is create a hyperlink image: create an image that looks like a button, and then include a ... Posted to General (Forum) by JenniferLindsay on 09-05-2014 Re: Creating duplicate forms when filename changes Well I think the easiest solution would be to remove the asset name from the form name. In general, it is best to choose values for the form name that will not change. Instead, I would make the Asset Name a promoted property, which will give it its own column in the SharePoint library. Then if the asset name in the form is ABC ... Posted to General (Forum) by JenniferLindsay on 08-06-2014 Re: Creating duplicate forms when filename changes Have you double checked that you don't also have that same formula set as the FileName default value? Also, have you double checked that the rule that sets the FileName to your formula has the condition "FileName is not blank"? It sounds to me like you either have a default value formula or another rule ... Something like this: SharePointList/SalesTax[SharePointList/Vendor = VendorFromDropdown] Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by JenniferLindsay on 08-03-2014 Re: Update repeatable table rows in Infopath browser forms 2010 You actually don't need to loop, you just need to set the default value for the Balance field to be equal to the previous row's Balance field minus the Amount field. Start with the following formula:Balance - Amount Then select the Edit xPath (advanced) checkbox, which will change what you see to something like this:. ... Posted to InfoPath 2010 (Forum) by JenniferLindsay on 08-03-2014 Re: Filter Secondary Data Connection Into Repeating Table It's actually much easier: just add a formatting rule to your repeating section. Set the rule condition to be "Column1 = No AND Column2 = No AND Column 3 = No" and then check the "Hide this control" checkbox. This will hide all rows that have No for all three columns. Posted to General (Forum) by JenniferLindsay on 08-03-2014 Re: Creating duplicate forms when filename changes How about creating a form field called FormName and then in your submit data connection make sure the form name is set to this field (no concat formula, just the plain old field). Then add a new rule on your submit button (make sure this new rule executes BEFORE the rule that actually does the submitting) that sets the FormName field ... With REST you can specify sort order on multiple columns.
