• Re: Making form name unique without using ID number

Thank you for the answer and yes that makes total sense. My only question to that is how to change the submit connection to choose that FormName field. When I open up the Submit Data Connection as you know it has the two fields one to choose the Document Library and File Name. There I can choose to build my unique name using Concat but I can't ...

  • Making form name unique without using ID number

So I've created a form that's published to a form library. I would rather have done this over a list but I needed repeating tables. The form is meant to be filled out put through a workflow and at some later date possibly revised. The end users don't want multiple copies of revised forms they just want to the one form and use version ...

  • Customize Text Box Field

From there I'm taking that name and putting it in a text box. Conversely I have another text field that is using the userName function to pull the logged in user's name into it. I also had to use the ...

  • Publishing Infopath List Form to Form Library

So I created a very sizable Infopath form over a list. The client now wants there to be a repeating field in the form. And of course list form doesn't support it. So I have to go with a Form Library. But I would like to avoid redoing all of that work again. I've saved the list form to my computer as template.xsn but it's not allowing ...

  • Re: Calculating number of months in a date range

Exactly. Sections are in main data source the only thing is in each section I'll have a couple of text controls hence the need for a section to hide them all. But yes if I had a static column for each month and was able to fill each month column in the way you have it for your repeating section in your form I'd be able to hide or show a ...
