The code I gave you is C#. I don't know vb.net, but i think i know what the problem might be... if objDefaultView = false Then XDocument.ViewInfos("Main").IsDefault = true XDocument.ViewInfos("Reminder").IsDefault = false // Add this line else ...

  • Re: Project Approval using InfoPath form and workflows

Ok for your automatic email, you can disable it in the task list. To do so, go to the task list settings, click advanced settings and select "No" at the "E-mail Notification" question. Now the task won't send any email when a new task is added. But you want the "assigned to" person to know that there is a task ...

In your form, add a hidden field that you will publish. Set the default value of this field to concat(Last name, ", ", First Name). I don't know if it will work though... if it doesn't, maybe you could try to add a field to your form that the user can fill with the username of the clinician (something like domain\rsmith) or with ...

You will need to add a column to your sharepoint list, type : people. That is the only way to add the filter on [Me] because [Me] is of people type. If you set this value with the good format of name (like Smith, Robert for instance) it should recognize the person. Hope that helps

Hello Lamouche, For the e-mail sent when a task is created, you could disable it completely and replace it by an email you will do in a SPD workflow on the task list. For the link to the task, open one of the task to the good page and copy/paste the URL to your email... of course you will need to change the ID in the URL by a lookup to the ID of ...

  • Re: Switchview before sending email

Another way to do it is to add a hidden field in your form named something like DefaultView with the name of your default view as the default value. Then, in the code, when the user sends the email, change the value of this field to the name of the view you want them to see. On the OnLoad event of your form, change the default view for ...

Hello Patrick, Thanks for the reply! I will clarify my question so everyone can understand what the issue is although I've resolved my problem already. Someone open the form, fill it out. No problems here. Now the person saves the form to sharepoint and then start an approbation workflow. An approver recieves an email to tell him he ...
