Patrick, Thanks for the quick response. I'm a little confused by "make sure I'm not caching" I have the form set to load the secondary data when opened, and that works. ( I have not checked the store copy of data in form) But once the form is submitted, it will not get the secondary data the next time the form is opened, for ... Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by texastwo on 04-28-2010 Do repeating tables work with refresh button, um don't think so? I have a repeating table that is loaded with secondary data upon opening form. It appears once submitted the form does not reload secondary data when re-opened for edits. Once a form is submitted and then re-opened for editing, the form contains old secondary data. The need for refresh comes from this grief. With a static table ... Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by texastwo on 04-27-2010 Re: remove integer from concat statement (newbie) Looks a bit daunting, but I can certainly give it a try. Ideally if I could some how poll the form to see what checkboxes were selected prior to submit or part of the submit process I would be good with that. Just have not found the way to do this. thanks Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by texastwo on 04-27-2010 Re: remove integer from concat statement (newbie) thanks for the quick reply, If my concat statement grows to the point it reads like (32~25~46~59) and later the no switch is set(tied to 25), then i need to remove (25) from the statement. Just not having any luck doing so. The concat is creating a log of the checkbox for export if that makes sense. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by texastwo on 04-27-2010 remove integer from concat statement (newbie) Can someone please tell me how to use the string and substring fuctions to remove an integer from a concat statement.? I'm befuddled. Field 5 is where I'm sending a rule from checkboxes, that if checked (or yes) read the text box and add an integer to it, then a tilde " concat(field5, field4, "`")" Where ... If (@Available[@ID = countfrom]=1) else (countfrom - 1) how might you suggest creating this? Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by texastwo on 04-26-2010 Re: Checkboxes in "section", wanting to fill a list box if checked Mr. Wizard I presume, If my check box needs to be an interger how would you suggest tweaking this to work with the tables. Or better yet, let me try and explain where I'm going with this. With your wisdom, you might point me in a different direction, or have a better solution. Your example "Question fields" will populate ... I was looking for conditional format on the box, not the table. I found it. The other thing is the way you used the tools, form options, advanced tab. omg, after 200 manual entries i wish i was slapped up a long side the head earlier. I ... This is a huge discovery form me, but what makes this tick, Is there code that i can't see or did i fall off the edge somewher and miss a very basic element? I have more questions than I have answers? One is this a browser compatible form? Two, should I be concerned about the "duplicate" field warnings? And ...
