Because I am using a button the submit options under the Data tab doesn't work and I don't ... Posted to Controls (Forum) by abiigdog on 09-04-2013 Approval workflow on the form or on the list I have a simple vacation approval infopath form which I am going to build workflow around. I am trying to find out if I should have the approval state dropdown (Pending, Approved, Partial Approval, Denied) on the form itself or if I should create that dropdown on the list but not on the form. Or another way to say it is should the approval process ... Posted to Workflow (Forum) by abiigdog on 08-18-2013 Re: Back or previous view function? I see what you mean thank you Potemkine. I think I understand, so on all 3 of the pages the button would flip to a value if they chose to divert to the other view? Then the button on that page examines that field and switches them back if value = X? I guess I would have to clear the value in that field somehow too so its ready for the next possible view? Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by abiigdog on 10-15-2010 Back or previous view function? Is there a "back to previous view" function I can use in infopath? I have a view that may be accessed from any 1 of 3 views, so I won't know which view they are on when they click back. Is there someway to know where they came from so I can return them back to that specific view? Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by abiigdog on 10-15-2010 Re: Basic Formula help Yes your right that's what it's doing. I guess I need to do a count operation when the value is greater then zero, and further down the rabbit hole I go. It displays a number but not a correct one. using two values of 2 and 4 it tells me the average is 1 instead of 3, still stumped. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by abiigdog on 10-14-2010 Re: Basic Formula help I tried that but I think I have the syntax wrong or it doesn't work. Tried Round(Sumsection / 12) do I need to use the "div" instead of the divide symbol? Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by abiigdog on 10-14-2010 Re: Basic Formula help Well I could but then I wouldn't have the average, need it to average then round in the same expression. Posted to Newbie Questions (Forum) by abiigdog on 10-14-2010 Basic Formula help I have several fields summed and sent to a field called SumSection. I have a AverageScore field that is a text box that I want to average the result of the SumSection field. I can do the average fine by using (Sumsection) / 12, twelve being the number of fields. But how do I round the result? I just can't figure out how to string together then ...
