Happy New Year to you as well - this is not possible within the InfoPath UI. It may be possible to manually modify the transform file for this - but if the form will be used in the browser, InfoPath Forms Services often won't support such manual modifications, so you may just not be able to implement this - I'm sorry for the bad news!

Well, if in your form when you put this field on the form there is a value in preview, does it also have a value in the browser? I find it unlikely that there is an issue with the user name function - as far as I've seen, that function returns a value in browser forms in Office 365. You may not like the value - it will be using claims ...

How odd. Any other form users, besides yourself, & if so - do they also sometimes get this error?

Maybe try to promote the column as a new column. Also check the library's settings page - do you maybe have more than one column with this name? I think Author is the internal name of the "Created By" column that exists in all lists / libraries, but I can't imagine that is the issue - I'd assume SharePoint would just create a ...

Wow, did you change something in the schema? Download one of the old XML and then in your form, under the Form Options, in the Preview section, browse to the XML to open it when you preview. Under Form Options, set versioning to not upgrade existing XML. Preview the form - what happens? Is there a schema validation error? Feel free to zip up an ...

Euw, sorry about the mislead on the Word Automation, and thanks for letting me know that it isn't supported in O365. You can use Microsoft.Deployment.Compression.Cab to extract the source files programmatically. I don't believe the InfoPath OM will give you the name of the print view - I think you'll have to extract the form's ...

No idea - I'd assume REST if anything. Did you check your log files yet?

So this is something you are trying to do in your SharePoint list as a calculated column? InfoPath doesn't have IF or ISBLANK. I'm attaching a simple sample that has two tables bound to the same data source. Save the file locally, preview and in the top instance of the table, enter some data. Leave the data column blank in some rows & ...

My instructions are intentionally vague, as I obviously have no details as to the actual structure of your form. Which of your two secondary data connections has the data where you want to reset the field to display "No Report Submitted"? It would probably be way easier to just put a calculated value in the area where you want to see ...

Okay, so it was probably hidden due to permissions. Check with one of your SharePoint Admins, see if they will save it as a template for you & download the template from the gallery so you can upload it to your desired server.
