Hi Taen,
Multiple views will cause the XSN (InfoPath form template) to get larger, which will impact open time, but unless the views have a lot of controls, it should not impact display performance. The biggest issue with display performance is the number of controls in the view.

Hi Justin and welcome to our forum!
I wonder if you really need 16 forms. We have a Database Accelerator which simplifies submitting and connecting to databases. But anyway, now you have 16 forms ... lots of maintenance and unless you have 16 primary keys in the database, probably overkill....
You are asking about Full Trust. Full Trust is not ...

Hi Rhonda,
I haven't heard of this problem before. Have you googled it?

Hi Tracy,
Am I correct to assume that you're trying to do this without writing any code? If you are writing some code, you can refer to the Asset Tracker sample that ships with InfoPath. If you are trying not to use code, you should be able to create a rule that increments a counter stored in a secondary XML data file (data connection) and refer ...

Hi Abhishek,
Did you look at our HowTo on the using SharePoint loginnames with InfoPath forms?

Hi Asankaf,
So I think you are saying that new values don't update when new items are added. Do you have a rule that updates the control (by requerying fom the DB when a new item is added)? That would probably help. Is the control bound to the main data source or the Web service? Are you loading from the Web service on load or programmatically? I ...

Hi again,
Sorry for delay in getting back to you. If the forms are all built from the same XSN file, you can use merge forms. There are two ways to consider - manual (where the user indicates which forms to merge) and automatic (where some logic in the form goes out to a file share and imports all of the forms). Assuming that the file share is in ...
