Hi and welcome to the InfoPath Dev forums!
So you can't repro this again, is that right?
Was this an InfoPath error message or an Outlook message? It might be helpful if you have it again to post a screenshot of the actual error message. Also, if there is it is an InfoPath error message and there is a "Show Details" of ...

Hi Ed, I would assume that you made the number a decimal double in InfoPath?
If that is the case is this just a simple issue where you are rounding the number (showing 0 decimals places?) For example if you show 0 decimal places 49.50 will show as 50 in InfoPath.
See the image below from the number format options in InfoPath, is this the ...

Jen,
If you remove the field from the UI (but not the schmea) the field won't show in the form. If you need to show the field for old forms that have the data then you should create a seperate view for old forms and make an On Load rule so that if any of the "old" fields contain data the form should switch to the view that ...

It sounds like this is a good candidate for the Copy Tables function of our qRules product: http://www.qdabra.com/en/products/qRules.aspx

We ...

In your situation the thing I think you need to do is NOT delete the actual node in the form schema. If you remove a node or field in the form it will break old forms as you are changing the schema.
Removing the field from the UI of the form is not the same as deleting the node in the data source in InfoPath.
So for example in the ...

Hi Lenka,
Are you sending the external user the XSN in your email? They will need the template in order to open the form.
Also, is it possible that you have data connections in the form that refer to the SharePoint site that could be causing the problem?
You might also post some screenshots of the error the external user is getting to ...

Hi,
Is this a SharePoint server where they are opening slowly?
It really sounds like a server environment issue rather than an issue with InfoPath - espeically since you said that you tried this with a simple form and no data connections (so you removed the data connections as an issue).
How did you publish your template?

Hi!
It sounds to me like you want to auto generate a unique ID for a new form and you want it to be sequential?
This is a pretty common question, if you search the forums you should find a number of threads on this.
For example here is one good thread that discusses several different ways of doing this including querying SharePoint for the ...
