I don't believe there is a way to upload a form succesfully to SharePoint other than publishing it (via InfoPath's File > Publish).
It's quite a unique issue not having access to the domain where the form needs to be published to!

I see. You would most likely need to write some custom code to achieve this.
You could also try qRules and the GetWeekDay command.
Good luck!

There are three ways to achieve this. (a) You create a db-bound form. (not browser compatible)(b) You write your own web service.(c) You use something like DBXL to map the data. This previous discussion covers b and c:http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/15068/53411.aspx#53411Good luck!

As far as updating a value in a SharePoint form library, without code, the answer is to open the XML, update the value, resubmit the form.
But as I said, I'm not clear on what you want to do. Perhaps you'll want to open a new thread and add information about your scenario and what it is you want to accomplish.

Is your formula not working?

Yes, definitely. But one has to remember that a SharePoint form library stores XML files, just like a document library could store Word documents. If data needs to be modified in Word documents, one needs to open the Word document, perform the update and save. If one wants to update the XML file stored in a SharePoint form library, one opens the ...

I'm not clear on what you want to do, sorry.
A SharePoint form library stores XML forms. To update one of these, you open it (in InfoPath or the browser) and then resubmit to update.
A SharePoint list stores flat data with no underlying XML form, thus we can update it using qRules.

Hi-
So if I've understood correctly, this is what I would propose:
1. Query a shP list
2. set the values in a secondary XML
3. Submit that Secondary data source XML to a form library
(repeat these steps iteratively for various list items)
You can use the qRules command SubmitToSharePoint to submit a secondary XML, though you'll ...

You'll just use rules. So if the user selects item #5 from a dropdown, the dropdown actually stores the 5 and not the display name. You would need a rule on that dropdown to set the value of another field whenever the value of the dropdown changes.
That way you'll have the dropdown (storing the ID to the look up field) and the new field ...

Sorry, but the Mapping Tool won't show form libraries because qRules' SubmitToSharePointList only allows mapping data into SharePoint lists.
