In the past, with something similar, I've used sort of a "summary" view - so, if the form has already been submitted, and you re-open it, it opens to the summary view and you can click a button if you wish to open the full view & edit it - then you have the form open prior to trying to submit it.

In the inspectors tab, you should have a request and a response. The above looks like your request and it looks like it should be okay - so check the XML in the response tab and see what's there. :)

Formatting settings simply determine how the data is displayed in SharePoint, not what the value actually is. So - set up your formatting as you had it then in the condition, change the first drop down to "the expression". After you do that, you can use the number function around each of the fields: number(d:Invoice_x0020_Total) != ...

Can you install Fiddler on your machine? It is a free download - you can run it while you try your logic to delete and in the Inspectors section you can get back info that may help us see what's going wrong. Want to give it a try?

Here's a sample. Save it locally, right click and select design. I've added some instruction & information. Please note that this won't work in an Office365 browser form as it uses the lists web service that SharePoint won't allow. But I guess if you are on Office365, you could probably use MS Flow. :)

Yes, I think so - but it isn't easy..... Basically, you have to create an XML that has the correct CAML for deleting, and then have a web service connection to submit that to the Lists web service. I have a few forms that use this approach for deleting list items, and I'd assume it would work for libraries as well. I'll try to put ...

Can you use a SharePoint workflow? Maybe promote another field from your form that has the "old name" in it - on submit, if there is a value, the workflow tries to delete the form w/ that name?

I'm pretty sure SharePoint is returning more decimal places than you may think. See the attached screenshot that shows the Invoice Total format settings - try changing that to "none" so you can see the actual value. Maybe do the same w/ Full Total, so you are seeing the actual XML value for both. Then you can figure out what to do ...

Any chance you can attach a copy of your form to a reply under the options tab? I'm wondering if this is a simple matter of needing a filter on your data when you look for the answer....

Oh, great, glad that ended up working for you. Browser forms can get a little funny sometimes. :)
