Hi InfoPathProblems and welcome to our forum!
Have you looked at the Asset Tracker solution in InfoPath 2003? This shows how to use a button to access details for a table. A little different than what you want, but a good reference since several of the concepts are similar and you should be able to reuse them. Unfortunately, you can't insert ...

Hi Adam,
Yes, this is the limitation of using a XML file as a 2DS (secondary data source). You could of course, have an InfoPath solution on top of that file and change the main form to automatically ''import'' this secondary resource data file on load from a domain trust web location... Hi Travis,
I haven't read all of your posts here, but there have been many other threads regarding Rich Text and SQL. In fact, I believe Jim Cantwell posted an XSL recently for converting rich text into XML that InfoPath could use. Please search for him in the members area and review his recent posts. Also, search for ''rich text control'' in the ...

For InfoPath 2003, you either have to choose a table or all leaf nodes. You cannot select both a table and leaf nodes, nor can you select a subset of the leafnodes.
You can, however, write custom code to launch Excel and export the specific fields to a new spreadsheet. That will take some work though but it possible.
