To have the e-mail recipient submit to the Access database will require that they have access to that database and that the database be on your corporate LAN. Sounds like the DB is on your LAN, so it should work. Worst case scenaio you may have to make the form full trust.

Have you looked at Matt Faus's HowTo on how to update SharePoint lists using InfoPath? There is also an example in Chapter 9 of our book. Are you using the Application.User object to reference IsUserMemberOf? It won't work under Application. Must be Application.User.IsUserMemberOf(''GroupDomain\Administrators'') for example.
