Hi Carrieh,
We need some more information from you. It sounds like you have a cross-domain issue. InfoPath will not allow people to open documents on a separate domain as this is a security violation unless the other domain is trusted.

Hi Turnipboy!
Sorry for the weeklong delay in responding! So long as you have the 1235 data somewhere in the form, you can do this with a Full Trust solution and some code. Or, you can save your Excel files to SharePoint and load them from there and you might be able to get around the full trust issue. Anyway, good luck!

Hi BurkedP and welcome!
I don't know the answer for you. We are not very knowledgeable of Access scenarios. It's possible InfoPath just doesn't support this. If you have a SQL database, we have a Web service that supports this scenario of writing rows to a detail table. Please send me e-mail if you'd like to try it out. Sorry I wasn't more helpful!

Hi Horace and welcome to our forum!
We sell a Web service for $19.95 USD that does what you want. How much are you paying yourself an hour? :)http://www.qdabra.com/proddetail.asp?prod=QADWS

Hi Micky and welcome!
How many postcodes do you have in your country? This could be a long query. You probably don't want to pull all of these down into a dropdown since it will be too hard to search the list. My suggestion would be to have them enter a value and then query the second table (Local District Office E-mail addresses) and display ...

Hi Paul,
You can definitely do #2 and #3. Are you on SharePoint 2003 or SharePoint 2007?
For SharePoint 2003 ....
You can use some code in the form that *detects* the publish location (i.e. the subsite URL) of the project - this can be used to correctly submit to the right subsite.
For auto-population, you can either have them launch from a ...

Hi Rzwahr,
If you find a way to do this, let us know. There might be some way to set up a public folder to post it, but my guess is that there is some security reason why this can't be done. Why not just have 2 submits from the form? First submit to SharePoint and then send e-mail. We do *that* (dual submits) all of the time.
Cheers

Hi Ali,
Printing in InfoPath is not going to be neat. Sorry, but that's the truth. InfoPath 2007 is better, but still there are problems. It's not like Word.
I'm not sure what you are asking - are you asking to do batch processing of the forms and print them all out? Or, are you asking to print out each of 6 views for the same data? Please give ...

Hi Janditze,
Are you on IP2003 or IP2007? If the former, search the SDK for SelectNodes. If you haven't installed the SDK, please do. If not, check outhttp://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/ipsdk/html/xdmthSelectNodes_HV01025479.asp

Hi Tim,
There are a couple HowTos written that explain how to get/set data from SharePoint lists. Also, Chapter 9 in my book describes this. Go th the ''Search InfoPathDev for:'' text field and enter ''SharePoint list my filter''. Let me know if you don't find it.
