One thought is to decrease the time to open a form by not connecting the data source every time a form is opened. I mean when we take a data connection we will check ‘automatically retrieve data when form is opened' check box. Uncheck that check box and query that when ever needed in the code.

Hi,We can relink the forms which are there in the library. So that the old version forms are updated with new version forms. If you still face the problem then just increase the upgrade version number manually. And also make sure that the ‘automatically upgrade existing forms’ is selected in the on version upgrade drop down in the Form options ...
