I would assume you would have the SQL data in a secondary data connection.
You would do a filter on the SQL data and check your field validation.
This would be a conditional rule, probably triggered by entry in the control in the form where the user would enter.
If true then it would set your status field to "flagged" or whatever and ...

This can be done pretty easily with a database type form.
Create a new form and select database in the wizard.
Select the customer table and add the location table as a child.
This will build a form which can query the records as you desire.
Play with the default form so you understand the process.
Than add your secondary DC of the IDs and ...

Thanks Albert!
A common desire is to insert a row templated from an existing row. So copy a row and then insert a clone to reduce the data entry. Would it be the last record or could you specify the sample row?
Could your code be used for this? Maybe you could explain as this would help others.

Unfortunately No.
You can not preview with a browser.
In the next release the admin publish process will be expanded to make it less intensive but for now get admin rights to publish forms on a test site.
Not a lot of options for code debugging.
I have also found that you may need VS on the SP box to completely debug a browser form's code.

SharePoint cannot support relational data so promoted properties cannot be repeating. A database is what to use for building relational tables.
For your webservice, it needs to be able to support submit. You would need to research it and how to pass data to it.
If you need some prebuilt, generic web services to dynamically query and ...

This would be a lot simpler if their was any standardization or folder name or file name structure that could be keyed upon.
It may be easier to use code since you could parse it from the right instead, I also believe their are some functions alreay created for parsing file paths to get the specific filename.
However in InfoPath you can ...

Do you want them to manipulate the items on the form or do you want them to actually edit the Sharepoint Lists? Insert, Delete, etc.
If it is just within the form you would need to build a list in the main data source.
So as they select items from the SP list it would copy them to the list in the form.
I would probably do this with a repeating ...

I guess I would need an example of the data but you need to figure out what is unique to records with procedure codes? Is this Medical? You may be able to look at the number of digits in a field or whatever. Ideally there would be a flag field denoting Procedure Codes. What other data is there?
If you can find the unique characterisitc then ...

Go into the properties for the repeating table you are printing and go to conditional formatting.
Hide the rows you do not want to show.

Have you listed all of the data to verify there are values and they are numeric?
I would maybe go back to the original form the value is coming from and try to set it to a numeric value so that you do not have the string conversion issue. Or add another numeric field which defaults from the value of the text field and then sum that.
