Well - yes, but it is tricky. You can easily use code or qRules for this. You can also use a default data approach - add your repeating group for your user list (probably user name & date time). In the form's defaults, add as many instances of this group as you think you are likely to need - estimate high. Then you can use a helper ...

Weird. Can you paste the full XPath of your formula back in a reply?

Yuck. I really don't know why it doesn't show up in some mail apps but does in others. I guess I might try adding a picture field to the form and setting its default value to the picture I want (not as a link) so that the picture base64 ends up included in the XML & then see if that helps. See attached sample. NOTE - I haven't ...

So - I'm sorry, the reason I've not been responding to your question on this is because I still don't understand. Is the form you are trying to open a list form? Or a regular InfoPath form that is published to a library? When you say "ends up opening like" and include the URL - are you saying that your calculated ...

Try:
dMath:Eval(xdMath:Eval(xdXDocument:GetDOM("Workbaskets_US_Assignments")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:SharePointListItem_RW[d:US_x0023_ = xdXDocument:get-DOM()/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/my:SharePointListItem_RW/my:ID], 'concat(d:New_x0020_Assignment_2, ";")'), "..")

Sounds like you found a work around then. This just looks like simple math & again, I'm not aware of any limits. In the copy of the form you sent me, I added another 6 or 7 fields to the same default w/out an error.

I would right click on the root node in the fields task pane, and select Rule Inspector - I just checked and in a large form with lots of calculated fields, it showed quite a bit of info, and you can print from there as well. See attached screenshot.

You'll need to make the form full trust and sign it with a code signing cert (I have one I use that doesn't expire till 2036 & I am happy to share it with you). You can use a field value or something to make the name dynamic, or just maybe use a date time string? Like:string filename = ...

I need some more info, I'm sorry. I think you are saying the data connection doesn't return the data for the field, even though you have it selected when you create the data connection? This wouldn't happen to be a data connection to a form library, would it? If so, I sometimes find the "title" field is blank (and have ...

I'm guessing you have tried republishing the forms to the library, since you mention you've been experimenting? I would try a new, blank form, published to a new library. What happens then? Does InfoPath behave normally in IE?
