What do you mean by ''masked''? Did ytou look at Shekar's link? I think this is a very good HowTo to reference. Thanks Shekar!

Hi Amin,
We haven't done this. Good luck and please post whatever you find out.

Hi Jenz,
Please donwload the SharePoint Software Devlopment Kit (SDK). It contains a wealth of information.

Hi Kamlesh,
Office Form Server doesn't allow dynamic filtering which and that was a big omission in my opinion. Our Qdabra Web service (BASIC version is free) supports filtering a database but not SharePoint lists.

Hi Ben,
Please let me know if you would like a demonstration of our Qdabra Database Accelerator Suite which includes this functionality. We are about to release version 2 and the Basic version (formerly the Developer Editition) will be free.

Hi Jason,
In the past (WSS 2003), we've done this with code in the form. For a MOSS 2007 Doc Library, there may be a new feature as part of SharePoint workflow to enable this, but we haven't done much with that yet. If not, you can always use code.

Looks like your connection string is incorrect. You need to configure it correctly. Check your data connection and try again. Also, what operating system are you trying to do this on and what is the version of SQL?

Hi Ekzarov,
Have you looked at using filters to do this? Certainly you can use Xpath as part of your condition in your filter. Filters are a much discussed forum topic and Greg has written several HowTos on it as well. Please search the forum for related posts (top right) and the site for the HowTos (top left)

You can create a Visual Studio plugin that you can use when the InfoPath form is being developed but I don't think you can do this as part of the Designer.

SharePoint list adapter limits the entries to the number in the SharePoint view. If your default SharePoint view is limited to 100 (which is the default), then that's what you will see. To modify the number in the default view, go to modify columns and settings, click on the default view and scroll down to the bottom.
