You'll need to actually select the fields using the Select a field or group... button. You can't just type field9.
-
So you have 5 checkboxes in your form that can have the value 1 or 0, and you want to find the percentage that are checked? If so, I imagine this should work:(field9 + field10 + field11 + field12 + field13) div 5
-
You could also use this condition to check whether a field contains any of the characters you're checking for:Field != translate(Field, '^\:*?"<>|#{}%~&', "")

Perhaps I'm missing something, but it sounds like you want to show the drop-down list as long as Amount is <= $500,000. So why not use one formatting rule to hide it if Amount is > $500,000?

The issue here is that the Blankem technique involves using a Set Value destination XPath that is not a simple node path, and not something that the InfoPath designer would let you select. While InfoPath filler will allow you to still use the form under these conditions, SharePoint will not allow it.
Luckily, you should be able to ...

The general format would be this:
count(repeatingGroup[field != preceding-sibling::repeatingGroup/field])

How about this:
eval(eval(ProctorEmail, 'concat(., ";")'), "..")
-
That is odd. I couldn't say offhand why that is happening, but as a workaround, please try replacing the ns1:ProctorEmail part with this: *[local-name() = 'ProctorEmail']

Hi Michael,
I'm fairly sure that the double eval expression shouldn't have that full xdXDocument:GetDOM("ProctorStudents")... path inside the concat() function. Please try deleting all of that portion except the ns1:ProctorEmail.
With any luck, this namespace prefix error is just a red herring.

Hi Michael,
Thank you very much for your suggestion. This is a feature that I have throught about in the past, but it seems that we have not found a need to implement it so far.
This kind of functionality should be possible to implement using qRules, with the caveat that it would not be browser compatible. I have added the feature ...
