I don't understand your question.
Did you try my advice above?

Hi Venkat,
Secondary data sources are not stored from one session to the next. These need to be queried each time they are needed.
If you need to preserve data, submit it as part of the xml, promote data into SharePoint columns, this data HAS to be a part of the main data source.
The workaround is to store the data in the main data source. Use ...

Hi-
One of the goals of the next release of qRules v5.1 is to make it compatible with InfoPath 2013. I don't believe the Mapping Tool is ready to be used with InfoPath 2013.
Do you have InfoPath 2010 that you could use temporarily to create this mapping?

Hi Thabiso,
Could you create a new thread and post your question in it? It will get more attention that way. This is an old discussion and seems unrelated.
Please provide as much information as possible, since the question above is not clear.
Thank you.

What exactly are you querying? A SharePoint List where the list items have attachments?
If the column is not available on the list or library (not promoted), it's not going to show up in the data connection.

You'll have to look at the actual xml values being stored in your form for the dates. You could have this in the secondary data source:

But have this in the main data source:
2012-02-01
or even
2012-02-01 01:23:34
In which case, there's no match.
Simply drag both into the canvas and display their raw XML value ...

They could type in whatever filename they want ...

I believe what you're looking for is called cascading drodowns. We have a video on this available here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SH7xUEcQwwg
Even if you don't have cascading dropdowns, that scenario will illustrate how to set data in another field based on a selection in a dropdown.
A quick Google search on InfoPath cascading ...

Hi Jacqui,
Unfortunately, you've been tasked with a difficult task. Writing your own web service, deploying it, maintaining it, is no easy task for an InfoPath/SharePoint beginner. The topic has been discussed before in threads this like one. In addition, to upload a document (I assume into a separate document library) requires custom code. ...
