There is a packaged solution for this.
Check out www.qdabra.com or email Sales@qdabra.com and you can see a demo.

It sounds like InfoPath is not registered wityh windows as the default application to open XML or XSN files.
You could save one of each locally.
Right click and select open with and then manually set InfoPath to always be opened for these files.
Or probably a reinstall or repair of office would fix it too.

You should be able to put a rule on the field which the drop down is bound to.
Use a set field action to set the address field based on the name, although if you have multiple identical names that might be an issue. You may need to use the ID or something. or make your names unique in your list.

One thing is that if you change the SQL Tables you need to go into Data Connections and modify the Data Connection and go through the setup again for it to see the new fields in the form.

2 - Once you have the default form from the wizard.
You can add values to the query fields and then execute a query to load a record from the DB into the data fields.
You then must either edit the ...

Hi Rico.
My guess is this is the IIS issue where credentials cannot be passed to a second site. "double hop" I believe it is referred to as.
When a form runs in IPFS it cannot pass your credentials again to SQL or a seperate server. As a work around, create a SQL account for access in SQL and then put that in your UDC file so ...

This is interesting.
To your reference to jscript, IPFS does not use any script and only managed code. so that might be a clue but still interesting it itterates through the repeating nodes differently.

I would either put this in a rule or onchange for the dropdown or make the defualt value for the hyperlink based upon the dropdown value and have it update automatically.
You have a field for the hyperlink text and are then using that field for the hyperlink path correct?
