Add a rule on your button that sets CurrentRecordNumber to the count of preceding siblings for the row that matches on part number. Simple sample attached, save the file locally, right click and select design then preview.

Yikes. Okay, I was going to suggest REST, but that won't work on SHP Online. I'm not really sure what to suggest... is there a different way you could limit data? Maybe you only need data for a certain month or year and could use a calculated column to return that for the date in the field you are currently querying?
-
I'm pretty sure this is a limitation of the InfoPath object model - kinda like how you can't use a rule to change a view based on a field change and also can't do that in code. I'm pretty sure you'll get an "Invalid context for OM call" error.
-
I'm wondering if your rules are on a field instead of a button? Buttons have the Close the form action - but fields do not....

Hi - you can't using a SharePoint List connection with query fields - those are only equivalence, so you can say "Date = this" or "Date = that" but nothing more complex, unfortunately. Is this SharePoint Online or is it an on premises server?
-
So - what I am saying is that you should submit all your forms to a single library, then in another form (or whatever, web part, Excel, etc) use a data connection to THAT library to return all the data & then aggregate it.
-
This is a filler form or a browser form? Submits to a form library? If it is submitting to a form library, you can just use rules to clear out all the data and make sure it has a new unique name so that it submits as a new form....
-
I'd guess you would promote the stage to the library the form submits to, then you could create .... something .... with a data connection to that library to aggregate the data / chart as desired? Power BI maybe, or even just Excel?

Are you in the DBXL Admins group? On the server, where DBXL is installed, under the local groups, find the DBXL Admins group & add your account there.... Also, can you take a screenshot of the footer of the DBXL Admin tool, so I can see what version you are using? You can post a picture under the Options tab in a reply. Thanks!

So - the last item - logged in as different user w/ same results probably negates this idea, but perhaps clear the form from the InfoPath cache? Open InfoPath Filler, go to the File > New, find the form, right click and Remove (or Get Update) and try again?
