Thanks for the reponse!
You are correct in your understanding. I need to horizontally roll data, but actually over an 8 week period without the second/third/etc., task data reverting to that of the first task (I simplified a little for the explanation's purposes). I had a nasty feeling I might have to play with VSTA a little. ...

[quote user="Queenie"]People have to fill in this form every week and can add as many tasks as they need to along with how many days they plan on spending on those tasks in the next four weeks. In order to make filling in the form easier from week to week I have also included two control buttons [<] and [>] with the idea that if ...

Hi Gennady,
Thank you for your reply. The browser that I was using was Internet Explorer and I also tried it in FireFox. The library settings for opening documents was set to the browser. Unfortunately for me, the prod environment being freshly built (and only containing a couple of sites) had no other InfoPath forms to test against. The workflow ...

Morning all, I am fairly new to Infopath but realising it is the least complicated way to do things. I am having an issue at the moment with a repeating table in my form. While your lovely forum has taught me so much already, I can't find anything to help me with this Repeating Table of Doom™

Thanks for getting back to me Ernesto.
I have just created a new form, the form has a drop-down box that gets choices from a sharepoint list. Once the choice is selected, it sets the values to a few fields. One form has qRules injected to it, the other doesn't. It is totally codeless, no qRules command has been used ...

Looks like I don't understand current() at all. I changed the calculated value to use the xml data source to which the drop down is bound:
xdXDocument:GetDOM("GetFormsList")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/tns:GetFormsListResponse/tns:GetFormsListResult/tns:Item[tns:Value = ...

Thank you - I knew I was being thick about it
I also realized I could insert an image (not a button and associate the URL there too.

Thank you Ernesto.
mmmmmmmmmmmmm - thinking.
If I reverse my thoughts - if I calculate all fields even if they are hidden (hidden will be zero) only the shown fields will be totalled, all fields will be totalled but the shown fields will be greater than zero. They will have a value greater than zero. Now if they have a value greater than zero ...

You can concatenate the hyperlink and have a field in the schema that stores this value.
Then use a hyperlink in the canvas. The hyperlink is going to ask you for a URL (which is stored in the schema node) and text, which would be "click here".
I'm attaching a sample form.
Good luck!

You can't filter based on what's in the visible section and what's not, unfortunately.
If the field is not in the canvas, however, and the default value is 0, then including that field in the sum is not going to affect the result at all.
So the sum of the filled out fields is just the sum of all the fields?
