The signature maps to a section. I tried adding a repeating group to a blank form (group1 and group2). Inside group2 I added a section (group3). Inside that section I added a text box (field1). Next, I went to Tools->Form Options and clicked Digital Signatures. I checked Enable Digital Signatures for Specific Data in the Form. I added the ...

Hi HappyDigit,
Can you post more details of what you did? We'd like to understand this better. Thanks!

Hi RSP and welcome to our forum,
I'm guessing that it's because you either a) have a lot of data you are pulling down, or b) there is some extra authentication happening. It's easy to rule out (b), just make sure you are domain authenticated and that the SQL server and SharePoint Form Server are on the same box. If you are accessing from ...

Hi Mike,
Just send me e-mail. You can click on the ''E-mail Poster'' icon which is second from the left in the icon list at the top of each post. Keep in mind that while we will help you set it up, you will have to finish your InfoPath form yourself. Regarding the sections issue. Don't give up yet. I am going to send e-mail to ...

Hi NiK and welcome to our forum!
I have not heard of this problem. What do you mean by ''extensible table''? How big is the table? What is the XML structure of the external XML data connection? What version of InfoPath are you using?

Hi PDJohnson!
We should know the answer to this. I've asked Jim to respond.

Hi Rolf,
Is your Web service running on your local machine? If so, localhost is correct. However, that won't work when you have to roll it out to a server that you want other people to access.
Why do you need to write code? Just use the Data Connection wizard to add the parameter based on the field in your form.

I don't know if this is supported. My guess is that it isn't for hosted InfoPath forms. If you have a handle to the InfoPath instance, you could write a Web service on the server to get the parameters and set a couple fields in the InfoPath form. Usually for passing parameters we use import via the command line /aggregate switch or we use a sample ...
