That worked, this time it also associated itself with the correct content type.  i do have two Product Fields now, but at least it works.  Thanks again!!!

That is weird and unexpected - the data type for the field is just text (check in the data source task pane). You may want to try removing the field from property promotion and trying again...

Hope that title made sense.   When I published my form, I was promoting a Product field which is drop-down field.  I expected that field type to be single line of text, but it came as Multiple line of text. As far as I know, there is no way to do this with the people picker control itself.  You would have to split up the fields into their own separate controls to do this.

In the Default Data for the form (under the Data tab in the Ribbon for IP 2010, the Tools menu for IP 2007) you can choose whether to include a field in a new form. If you look at the sample form, you'll see I'm not including the repeating field in the default data.

Actually as i compare this with the first one i used on the other button, it seems to be a typo in your instructions. The typo is on Figure 22 (Step 6, a). If you compare it to Figure 13, there is a typo between substring-before....... chris

Okay, removed the on-loads and there is still the error. Correlation ID is pretty useless.
