Hi Mrudula and welcome to our forum!
An easier approach would be just to use an Active Directory group for the user roles. For each group, set up a distribution list (one e-mail address) that sends e-mail to the group. I hope this helps.

Hi ErinSelena,
So isn't that what Greg is saying? I think you got the easy advice from MS. This is doable, but perhaps not worth the trouble since you have a workaround... :)

Hi JackInTheGreen,
Can you give me a little more detail? What version of InfoPath are you using? What are the field expressions? If you are using InfoPath 2007, go to Logic Inspector under Tools and reply with a list of the rules you have defined. More soon,

Hi DuneBug,
Does the form have code in it? Sounds like it has a COM ActiveX control in the form that is not trusted or something.

It would be tricky and error prone since the drop down control may change if you change the InfoPath view and it might be difficult to get it in the first ...

Hi Basescu,
''Email'' is just the name of the adapter. There is an e-mail envelope which you can set values for programmatically by dereferencing oEmail. Have you read the InfoPath 2003 SDK? If not, it has lots of examples. There's a link on our Resources page. We also have code in the book: ''Developing Solutions with InfoPath'' which shows you ...
