I recommend clearing your InfoPath cache. Close down all running InfoPath processes. Then, click Start->Run and type in "InfoPath.exe /cache clearall" and hit enter. After that has completed, close InfoPath and try to open your form again.

yes, you'll need to substring before the time zone. see modified xsn attached.

Hi again,
Thanks for attaching the image.
Are you using the same version of Outlook? Please make sure you are.
If it is still an issue, I am guessing it's a limitation in InfoPath's support for converting the HTML of the digisig to WordML (used with Outlook email).
One workaround, would be to add an optional section to your form ...

Looks like you can change the PageType parameter in the link to be 6 or 8 and it will open in Edit mode. There's probably more info out there on this. PageType=4 is view (i.e. read only). Not sure what the difference between PageType=6 and PageType=8 is. Maybe you can spend a few minutes searching and add to the elucidation.

I've also attached a 2010 example.

Hi Stephanie,
Sorry for the quick response without reviewing your post more.
You can add a section to your form and copy the multi-select into it. Then, add a formatting rule to the section that hides it if the values for the other field do not equal the values that would require it.

Weird. I don't see anywhere near 5 seconds when we do the same technique on a VM located in a Seattle server. The VM is not hugely endowed, so it baffles the mind to think yours takes 35 seconds. We may want to run Fiddler on it to see why it is being so pathetically slow. My guess is that something else is going on.
