Attached with a new table added that will hopefully do what you need. Save locally, right click and select design, then you can preview the form. Hopefully you just need to display this data - InfoPath doesn't offer any out of the box way to copy the secondary data to the main data source - I wanted to clarify that because that was confusing ...

I had an extra paren on that formula, sorry about that. Try the attached copy. Couple of things - the button needs to be outside the repeating section to act on all instances of set value. The default data needed to have display set to false for all instances except the first.

Something seems off here - why are there so many nested repeating sections? Can I see your sample form?

Use translate. So: translate((your calc goes here), "Na", "") will remove NaN.

You shouldn't have to modify anything in source files to do this. What provides the link value in your hyperlink? Feel free to attach your form under Options in a reply if you want me to take a look at it. :)

So - do you need the calculated value to repeat for each row? Or for it to take each row into account? A screenshot or a sample form (you can attach either under Options in a reply) would make this easier for me to understand. :)

Hi - are you inserting at the end? If so, just use last(). So the XPath for your set value would be like: my:myFields/my:group/my:repeatinggroup[last()]/my:field

The checkbox will show true or false - you can use a formula to concatenate up all the names selected into a single field, if that makes it a bit easier to deal with. See attached.

So - under the Data tab in the ribbon, you'll see a button for default data. I've inserted 15 rows by default, setting each Name value. The repeating sections have formatting rules based on counts of preceding sibling to only show a certain set in a given section. I don't know what this means: "how can i get the values into the ...

I think the condition on your setvalue with the preceding sibling formula should be:
count(../preceding-sibling::my:SharePointListItem_RW) <= ../preceding-sibling::my:SharePointListItem_RW/my:NumRecAdd[. != ""])
